INDIVIDUAL DONORS

The Carolyn Rowan Center for Women's Health and Wellness
Decades of underfunding on a national scale have resulted in a deep knowledge gap about the female body.
The Opportunity
To begin to close this gap, Mount Sinai is launching a multispecialty women’s health center that incorporates healing modalities from integrative medicine and uniquely aligns women’s care plans to evidence-based clinical pathways, informed by research conducted at Mount Sinai.
The Process
Narrative development was a core component of writing this case for support, from early interviews with the donor after whom the center is named to working in parallel with faculty as they aligned on a vision for women’s health at large.
