Hannah is a science writer and strategist whose career has mirrored the translational arc that basic science takes into clinical practice, bringing us closer to an understanding of bodies and life. Innately curious and most inspired when deeply researching, she led scientific communications at the Society for Neuroscience, designed products to bring empathy to patient care, and now synergizes passion with purpose at the Mount Sinai Health System, an academic medical institution. With an appreciation for the lyrical, she translates complex scientific concepts and biomedical innovations into tight and articulate copy that moves funders to action. She has worked with scientists, physicians, executives, and creatives to write principal gifts ($5M+) proposals for philanthropic organizations, individual investors, and major donors; integrate content and design strategies; and coach faculty toward expansive visions. She holds degrees in English and Professional Writing from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
